Week 9

Week 9 Monday ,
I was absent on that day && i missed a test :<

Thursday:
The lesson on that day was about 1994 Pulitzers Prize by Kevin Carter.
The image was about a Vulture and an Africian child.
My first impression on this picture tells me that the child was very pitiful.
I felt sad for the child as the vulture was waiting for the child's death so that it could eat it up :<
We worked as a group of 4 to complete a worksheet given.
After completing the worksheet, Mr Chua told us the story behind this picture.
The picture was taken by Kevin Carter when he was at Africa.
After taking the picture, he left without helping the child.
Soon, when he won the Pulitzers Prize , everyone scolded him for not helping the child.
The pressure was so big on him thus he commited suicide.
If I was Kevin Carter , i would by all means help the child instead of leaving her alone and being fed by the vulture.
I think if he didnt regret helping this kid, he should not be a human.
Maybe thats why the commited suicide in order to prevent the guilt ?
